Opportunity for a Front End Developer with keen design skills to work in the marketing function of a growing established company.

Distil Recruitment is working in partnership with a well respected company in the recruitment of their next wave of tech hires. This is an exciting period for their tech teams as there are a number of new projects coming up in the consumer market across the UK and Ireland.

Role

The role will assist in developing the creative concepts from the digital team using HTML and CSS. The user experience is also a key focal point so you will need a commitment to UX design and to work on design concepts that are creative yet functional.

The successful applicants will start work straight away on an array of projects for both internal and external use. The role is varied and you will have the opportunity to work across a range of projects, functions and take a creative steer on a range of material from landing pages, email campaigns, corporate sites, consumer interfaces and much more. We need someone who can work quickly and flexibly with a keen attention to detail.

Person

We are looking for the following attributes:

• Third level qualification in a relevant discipline
• Commercial experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript / JQuery
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue and React
• Good communicator whom works well within the team
• Keen attention to detail with a questioning and analytical mind
• Open and creative approach to solving problems with technical solutions
