Graduate Software Developer (C++)

Graduate Developer candidates with C or C++ skills required urgently.

DESCRIPTION

We need a straight-up coding GEEK. Someone who loves programming, loves the challenges, loves the pain and loves to see the results at the end. Someone who wants to work with and learn from the best and who wants to get paid for this very handsomely!

Who are you?

You are shamelessly, openly, proudly and evangelically a Geek. You are someone who loves to code and always has done. You don’t need explain why or how – you just need to get excited by coding and be able to show us your passion and enthusiasm for programming.

Imagine being able to take this passion / hobby / skill out of the academic world, away from forums and home projects that you use to keep yourself challenged and busy and into the working world… Imagine the chance to work with some of the most experienced and enthusiastic minds within your field in Northern Ireland and be able to learn from them and even challenge their ideas and the way they do things… Imagine working in a collaborative, technology-driven research and development environment, where the products and tech that you help create will be used by consumers across the world on an hourly basis.. Imagine this opportunity was right here in Belfast…

Weirdly, the above is all true. We are working with a company with a number of opportunities for graduate calibre software engineers who have a proven passion for programming and who want to build a career in the field of innovation in engineering, telecoms and hardware.

The Company

A global giant in the telecoms and IoT sector with a track record of putting innovation and creativity at the forefront of their approach. The Belfast site is a key contributor on a number of core products and services and provides vital R&D projects to power the next generation of products. The technology and solutions produced and used globally billions of times a day.

Opportunity

To join a genuinely impressive, enviable organisation that has made a huge impact on the direction of mobile, wifi, Bluetooth, image caputure and IoT technology on a global scale. You will start work as a junior engineer on a range of software and embedded software projects that will contribute to the next generation product portfolio. And get paid for it. Very well.

You need a minimum 2.1 degree in a relevant subject, strong and proven skills in OO programming and some exposure or desire to learn C and C++. You need to live and breathe this stuff and be able to show us examples of what you can do.
