The Company

Distil Recruitment is working in partnership with a thriving company in the recruitment of their next hire. The company is experiencing growth over the last number of years in terms of new business and acquisition. This is an exciting period for their tech teams as there are a number of new projects coming up across UK and Ireland.

We are seeking to source a Developer for the Software Team and are keen to speak to anyone with experience as a Software Developer or Software Engineer.

The Role

Due to continued growth and investment in the business there is an immediate requirement for a Software Developer. The company has a long tradition of promoting from within and their preference is to hire a Software Developer whom is experienced within web and mobile application development, who is keen to fast-track their career.

The successful applicants will start work straight away in the software development team and will contribute to an on-going project from Day One. You will be mentored and trained internally according to your own requirements and a training and development plan will be agreed with you upon joining the company. There is a real variety of responsibility attached to the positions but they all involve working across the full development life-cycle from requirements gathering, design through to deployment.

We are looking for the following attributes:

What do I need?

• 2+ years Web Application Development experience in the LAMP Stack.
• Mobile Application Development experience
• Experience with Javascript
• Experience with an OO language (ideally C# or Java)
• Have worked with API’s
• Willingness and ability to learn new languages and tools quickly – with training.
• Great communication skills and work well in a team.
