DESCRIPTION

Are you experienced in supporting business / accounting software and being the contact point for key clients? Looking for a role in a buzzy small team environment with great perks?

Support Analyst (Business / Accounting Software)

Who are you?

You are someone working in a support role within a software or live industry (manufacturing / production / distribution / services) environment. You are used to working in a busy and fast-paced environment, juggling a range of issues at one time, prioritising your workload, keeping customers happy, never (well, rarely) losing your cool and having a decent grasp of databases, software applications and business processes.

You have a year or so experience at this and feel like it might be time for a change. You want a role with more training, more career potential, less awkward shifts, a chance to work in a small team of great people. Basically you want a step up. A shot in the arm for your career.

It might be time….

Role

Software Support Analyst position in an established local software house that is going through a lot of growth at the minute. You will be trained in some core applications used by clients within the accounting and business systems sector and will have responsibility for being first point of contact for key clients, overseeing resolution of issues from beginning to end. You will know when to escalate to development and you will know when to keep digging.

It is an opportunity to work on really specialised, top of the line applications and deliver a sterling support service. Excellent opportunities for career advancement.

Company

A local success story. Fantastic track record in terms of technology, products, growth and retention and development of staff. Commitment to staff training and development. All managers were hired as juniors and were promoted through the company.

City centre location, close to car parks as well as bus and train stations. Young team that is keen on social events, team-building and personal development.

This is what you need

  • Ideally a degree in an IT or related discipline
  • 1-2 years’ experience in customer support within IT – ideally software applications in business / accounting
  • Understanding of support processes and ability to juggle a busy and ever-changing workload
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
